We do this to say thanks to all our players. We appreciate all of you guys and can’t wait to run it back for yet another season.
När Abbe, Fedde och David får sina awards t-shirts.
MOST VALUABLE BALLER
This award is one of the most important ones. To be the most valuable baller on a team is a great honor and responsibility. The qualities to win this award are a great ball player, a strong leader on and off the court, a good teammate and someone who gives it their all every time they ball.
And that’s why this year’s award goes to Aleksander Lopez, who has been our rock the whole season with showing up on almost every practice and every game. Always giving it all he has and also leading the way in both scoring and defence.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME MOST VALUABLE BALLER
This award is very similar to the MVB but is centered around the championship game. The Baller who led the way and got us to victory when we needed it the most. Not only by scoring a lot of points but also by balling out in all areas of the game.
And this year’s award goes to James Chapple, who had one of his best game of the season when it mattered the most. Shooting like and artist from 3 and made right plays the whole game.
DEFENSIVE BALLER OF THE YEAR
Not in my house! This award is all about defense. These ballers have a natural defensive state of mind and give it all on that side of the court. They want the challenge of not only defending the best players but also stopping them.
And this year’s award goes to Federico Vega Ezpeleta, who has been a beast like always on both ends of the court but this season his defence stood out the most. He had to guard bigger guys and did it with ease at times.
CLUTCH BALLER OF THE YEAR
At the end of games is where we find the clutch baller of the year. This is a player who doesn’t shy away from the big moments and makes big shot after big shot. Not only at practice but in games when everything is on the line.
And that’s why this year’s award goes to Abiel Seyoum, who always take on the big moments both in games and in practices and is always clutch when it matters.
ROOKIE BALLER OF THE YEAR
This award is all about the new ballers. To be able to come in as a new baller and start to contribute right away is not easy. The Rookie Baller of the year can become one of the guys with ease. And as soon as the opportunity presents itself, he takes it and runs with it.
And that’s why this year’s award goes to Rozle Penca, who game in with his strength and great post moves and contributed right away. Stayed hungry the whole season and became a part of team easily.
SIXTH BALLER OF THE YEAR
This award is all about the ballers coming off the bench. To be able to stay ready even when you start on the bench. To come in and contribute as if you were a starter. These ballers could easily be starters but are needed as the 6th baller for now.
And this year’s award goes to Emil Johnsson, who has stayed ready the whole season and delivered every time he steps on the court with great shooting and nice play making.
MOST IMPROVED BALLER
This one is a special award. We all try to improve every year but being the most improved baller says a lot about a person. You must be willing to give more than everyone else, you must be determined to develop and sacrifice in order to change.
And that’s why this year’s award goes to Hamza Sirbic, who came back from injury and not only played well, he also started games and became one of our best Ballers this season.
HUSTLE CHAMP
This award has the most badass name of them all. And should be so since being a hustle champ is hard. To be able to give more than anyone all the time, on every loose ball, every rebound and every play. Someone who comes to all practices and all games, someone who doesn’t quit.
And this year’s award goes to Azur Jelacic, who gave everything and more both in practice and games with his drive and athletic abilities.
TEAMMATE OF THE YEAR
This award is special because we are all about team basketball. To be a great teammate should be on every ballers list. To win this award one should bring positive energy, should always be there for his teammates, be able to play with anyone on the team and be someone to count on when needed.
And that’s why this year’s award goes to David Obregon again as he got the most votes. He has been to the most practices and played all games, not only that but have made sure that everyone are included and feels part of the team.
